This website is a place for me to organize my thoughts on Biblical subjects in such a way that they are understandable to others. For a summarized statement of my beliefs concerning some basic doctrines, read this article.

I can be classified as an orthodox non-denominational Protestant. I sit under a pastor who teaches the Word of God line-by-line using a study method called ICE. ICE is an acronym for: Isagogics, the historical context in which the various parts of the Bible were written; Categories, organizing doctrine in topical chunks for effective learning; and Exegesis, studying the Word using textual criticism and the original languages.

Therefore, I do not use the King James Version of the Bible in most of my personal study or on this web site. While a good translation for the time, it is not the original text and is not inspired by God. Bible quotes on this site will be from the New International Version, unless otherwise cited.

The author of this site is not a theologian, pastor, or evangelist. Just a believer.
